He dealt with equities, <\/span><span class=\"s17\">commodities and currencies. He developed an interest towards <\/span><span class=\"s16\">the dynamics of psychological factors in action in the financial market.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p class=\"s18\"><span class=\"s16\">People come to stock market with the expectation of making money. In reality, not all people made money. He noticed that vast majority of people in the stock markets had no plans. Neither they had any financial goals. Many even lost <\/span><span class=\"s17\">their retirement savings for lack of planning or due to knee jerk reactions. The number of such cases and the quantum of personal financial losses touched its peak during the global financial crisis of 2008. <\/span><\/p><p class=\"s18\"><span class=\"s17\">Mr. Kannankara\u2019s interests to personal financial planning took shape in 2012. He met a senior citizen who lost all his retirement savings through speculative trading. This led that person to liquidate his house, reduce the quality of his life, and became financially dependent on his children. Life was harsh for a person who had worked for a lifetime and should be enjoying his retirement life, was in reality struggling financially. The unfortunate life-situation of this senior citizen pained Mr. Kannankara. Seeing Mr. Kannankara\u2019s interest in personal financial planning, his company now wanted him to focus on clients\u2019 needs and risk profiles and chart out client-specific financial plans. <\/span><\/p><p class=\"s18\"><span class=\"s17\">By <\/span><span class=\"s16\">2014<\/span><span class=\"s17\">, Mr. Kannankara gained much experience in personalized financial planning. His specialities included cash flow analyses, investment strategies, and risk and liability management. He worked for the company for few more years. He quitted his job in 2018 for starting his own consultancy\u00a0services.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"s18\"><span class=\"s17\">Since 2018, he has helped many clients in India and abroad in their planning. Considering the suggestions received from various clients, in 2023 he decided to present his consultancy services in a new look and feel. Thus was born <\/span><span class=\"s16\">Kannankara Wealthwise.<\/span><span class=\"s17\"> The vision remains the same, \u2018to empower all families to achieve financial well-being\u2019.
